Spring Summer 08 trends: Safari shorts on the high street
Today is unofficial 'Safari day' at CQ thanks to our current trend rundown, and after bringing you news that safari shorts are the new leggings / city shorts / skinny jeans / whatever else you wear on your bottom half it only seemed fair to bring you some pairs you might actually be able to afford...
Well, except the Stellas, perhaps.
Safari shorts work best with tanned legs, simple footwear and contrasting tops. Look to the catwalk for inspiration. I'd team dark shorts with a billowing white shirt, and lighter ones with belted short sleeved jackets or diaphanous printed tops. Add a straw trilby for the ultimate in city safari chic.
