Peacocks expands online store
Peacocks is doubling its online womenswear and will add menswear to its transactional website in time for the autumn season.
Peacocks' online shoppers are a stylish bunch, snapping up stylish stock which would be normally only be found in the chain's new trend-led concept stores.Managing director Tim Bettley said: "There are different types of customers shopping online. Items that were deemed too fashionable for the chain have been bestsellers online" adding "The website has opened up Peacocks to areas where we don't have a store."
Their grey longline cardigan makes a great wardrobe staple and is only £10.
Peacocks joins New Look in the value retailers who have transactional websites; other stores in that sector who have yet to make the leap include George at Asda, Tesco's Cherokee label and of course, Primark.
