Peaches Geldof to design capsule collection for PPQ
No surprises here I'm sure with the news that Peaches Geldof is teaming up with PPQ to design her own capsule collection.
Geldof is a close friend of the London-based label, even modelling their spring/summer '08 collection at London Fashion Week (pictured right). It's fair to say that amongst her clan of social scenesters, PPQ has become a favourite, particularly for their retro party dresses.
"It's a natural progression that Peaches is designing with us, she has always been one of our most confident customers," said Percy Parker, co-founder of PPQ along with Amy Molyneux.
"We have managed to provide her with everything a girl needs to party in, and now we have put our heads together and taken things to the next step."
According to WWD, Geldof's collection will feature dresses, separates and handbags 'all based around her namesake color mixed with Gothic black touches', with prices retailing up to £195. It will launch at PPQ's Conduit Street in time for autumn.
It's a busy time for the daughter of Sir Bob Geldof. Earlier this week we told you about her plans to star in a new reality series for MTV, in which she'll appear as a celebrity magazine editor. Yep, we're still confused about that one too...
