London's moped bandits hit Salvatore Ferragamo store
Salvatore Ferragamo's Old Bond Street store has fallen victim to those ruthless fashion bandits who are racking up an long list of raids on London's designer boutiques. Surely they're can't be any more stores left on their hit list...
Vogue.co.uk reports that around 10.20pm on Monday evening, a man and a woman smashed through the Ferragamo's store window on mopeds, nicking off with a armfuls of designer handbags.
If I had known it was as easy as that... just kidding!
In January this year, the Alexander McQueen headquarters were targeted. Previous to that, a string of designer boutiques were hit including Luella, Marc Jacobs and FrostFrench. Police are continuing their investigation, however several recent arrests have calmed the waters, that is, up until now.
