Diane Von Furstenburg announces CFDA nominees
The CFDA fashion awards announcement party saw nominations for style.com editor Candy Pratts Price, Carolina Herrera and New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg.
The party took place at the Rockerfeller Centre's Rooftop Gardens where Diane Von Furstenburg (pictured left, with CFDA exec Steven Kolb and Mizrahi) announced the winner of the International award, Dries Van Noten: "I'm going to play a guessing game. He's a man. From my hometown." The crowd didn't get the hint so she had to be a little more specific: "My birth country - Belgium". For a full list of the nominees head over to Shiny Style.

Calvin Klein's Fransisco Costa had a sheepish moment as he read out the nominees: "It's Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough for Proenza Schouler, Marc Jacobs... And me," The crowd cheered as Costa let out an embarrassed laugh.
Isaac Mizrahi kept the jokes flowing when he explained the reason for his sunglasses was an eye infection he picked up in London: "It's the same one Agyness had!"
The party comes a few months before the actual CFDA Fashion Awards gala at the New York Public Library in June. Other nominees include Tom Ford for menswear, Marc Jacobs for accessories and Rodarte for the Swarovski Award for Womenswear.
