Yay or Nay? Katherine Heigl's little black dress outfit at '27 Dresses' photocall in Paris

We haven't had a Yay or Nay for a while (apologies... London Fashion Week duties and all that) so who better to get things rolling again than the delightful Katherine Heigl. The star of Grey's Anatomy is on the publicity trail for her latest film 27 Dresses about a woman who is always the bridesmaid but never the bride. While the movie sounds questionable, so was her outfit at yesterday's photocall in Paris. Fashion rules tell us that a little black dress (LBD) will never fail, but matched with pearls, black heels and her hair in a French roll (while in France...) is it a bit too mumsy? Does she look fab or frumpy? I leave it for you decide...

Definitely a yay. She's so elegant and classy. I want to have a look like that.

Definitely yay! She looks elegant and classy. Very appropriate for a photocall.

My only note is that the neckline seems a bit too high. I'm all for not exposing too much skin on red carpets but IMHO taking a couple of inches from the neckline would have made the dress perfect.
