Vanity Fair's Hollywood issue pays tribute to Hitchcock

It's nearly Oscar time and yet one film maker who never won a a little gold man was Alfred Hitchcock, appalling isn't it? To pay tribute the granddaddy of thriller, Vanity Fair have recreated scenes from some of his most famous films for the latest Hollywood issue. The gorgeous photo spread features the crème de la crème of today's silver screen stars including Renee Zellweger, Naomi Watts, Charlize Theron, Keira Knightley and my new boyfriend (only he doesn't know it yet) James McAvoy.

Loads more pics after the jump...

hmmm i personally like the strangers on the train one...the sepia color effect seems to work particularly well. although, i have to say that i'm impressed with the one they did for vertigo - i thought renee looked awfully like the judy barton from that scene in the film!
