Tracy Rose's Fashion Week diary pt1

traceyroseday1.jpgMilliner extraordinaire Tracy Rose writes...

First show on an early Sunday morning and most of the people are half asleep or jet-lagged. Although there were some good wake-me up reds at Paul Costelloe's show. He did what he does best with some great high-waisted pencil skirts and lots of frills.

Then onto the welcome champagne reception pick-me-up at 10am thanks to Moet & Chandon to stimulate the brains.

I then did a piece about LFW for a Russian TV station called Zvezda before running upstairs to do a shoot with the Sunday Times Style Magazine and (surprise!) another glass of champagne. I guess you could say it was a busy morning!

Back to the tents for the Caroline Charles show. Once again it was another smart and commercially successful collection. Classic. Enjoyed the live jazz trio. After Caroline Charles, I was interviewed by ITV for a documentary about fashion and body image.

The Ben de Lisi show was above expectations with some great shimmering silver and black fabrics.
