Catwalk Queen's roving LFW blogger, Hannah Kane, is still hot on the party trail, tracking down all the best after-show shindigs. She writes...
After the Aganovich show at Vauxhall Fashion Scout I legged it back to the press lounge to collect my frock, kindly being minded by the Grazia Timeline girls (perky blondes who tell us exactly how late everything is running) so I could get myself dolled up for the show's after-party, which was a Valentine's Day masquerade theme.
I accessorised a strapless red floor length silk dress (made by my mum in the '80s) with Anne Summers PVC bondage tape, a genuine Venetian mask, and several coats of silver Barry M dazzle dust. As it turns out, I was pretty much the only person to get dressed up, and wasn't that rather embarassing in a room filled with Chanel and Balenciaga bodies.
Never mind though because I got talking to a devastatingly good looking boy who turned out to be Betty Jackson's son Olly (thank God I like her stuff). He left without asking me out (how rude?!) so I decided to act cool and hang around outside for a smoke with the lovely chaps from the Brit rock band The Horrors (pictured above).
Shortly afterwards they left as well, leaving me to wonder if I had BO or something? In protest I too left in cab headed to Soho with a bunch of drunken journos and artist Elizia Volkmann... just another night on the fashion party circuit really!
