On|Off's London Fashion Week diary pt5

Despite all the hard work and lo-oong days I always feel a little sad when London Fashion Week draws to a close and our On|Off diarists are feeling the same. Check out all the pictures of them mucking about and you'll soon have a smile on your face!

On|Off's Creative Director Lee Lapthorne said: “The best On|Off so far, I’m already looking forward to next season and can’t wait for our Custard Party in Paris later this month. Thank you for all the industries support and to my great team and helpers. Watch this space for our tenth anniversary in September.”

Diana Findley
told us that today was "the best and worst day at On|Off – the best because I can go home and sleep after tonight, but the worst because it’s all come to an end. It’s been the most fantastic season at On|Off so far, and all the helpers and staff have been amazing. See you in Paris at the party – I’m off on holiday!” Holiday? What a fantastic idea...wish I'd thought of it first!

Edward Winter
is also feeling a bit sad: “It’s getting very emotional as it’s the last day. My favourite part of the week has to be the shows and the designers. I’m very sad it’s coming to an end but will be glad to get my feet up finally!”

Richard Sorger is already thinking ahead to Paris: “I can’t wait to see Louise Amstrup’s show this afternoon, but I am looking forward to going home after a busy yet productive week. Looking forward to the On|Off Custard Party in Paris, they always know how to throw a good one!”

More melancholia, this time from front of house Mollie-Anne Griffiths: “Upset it’s the last day. It has been a long week but well worth the effort. Seeing the build-up and breakdown are always the most emotional times.”

Graphic design assistant Beaulieu Ferreira told us: “The bright, brilliant colours we have used this season have been fabulous, and I like to think that was a big part in building the positivity that has been here all week. On|Off is so full of opportunities, I can’t wait to be back.”

“I am thrilled by the amazing response we have had this season from buyers and press alike." Said PR Manager Alison Lowe. "I’m preparing already for our launch of On|Off Weekender in September, a biannual event showcasing and selling fashion, art and design, and for the Custard Party in Paris which promises to be really good fun. Of course my main agenda is building upon what we have achieved this season to make our tenth anniversary in September even more fabulous. That said, I do hope to have a moment to get my feet up sometime soon! A big thank you to all of the staff and helpers, what a fantastic job.”

I'm going to leave the last word to doorman John Alexandrou: “If there is something worse than being skint, it’s looking skint.”
