The moment that many fashion followers had been waiting for finally arrived yesterday with the Halston show in New York. Rachel Zoe was a no-show but long-time Halston fan, Liza Minnelli, was on hand to witness the return of an iconic American label. Floor-length jersey dresses took to the runway, alongside high-waisted trousers and cashmere trench coats. While the clean lines where nice (a nod to the label's glory days) overall it failed to excite me and the evening gowns almost bordered on yawn-worthy. I'm afraid, not even the fact that two pieces are available today to buy on Net-a-porter.com, will convince me that this is collection isn't well... rather boring.
