Marc Jacobs invites Kevin Federline to his New York Fashion Week show
How much does this hurt to hear? Marc Jacobs, famous for having some of the most controversial celebs on his fashion week front rows (remember Winona Ryder post her shop-lifting drama?), has invited Kevin Federline to attend his show on Friday.
Yes you heard correctly, K-Fed is going to be sat front row at tomorrow's MJ show, but not only that... he'll also be dressed in head-to-toe MJ courtesy of the menswear collection. Why not just drag Britney out of the psych ward and make a family day out of it? (*miaow*) Can you tell that I'm bitter?
In other news, it has been announced that Marc Jacobs International has been caught up in bribery scandal, involving its favourite show space in New York - the 69th Street Armory.
According to WWD, James Jackson, the former superintendent of Manhattan's 69th Regiment Armory, has been indicted on charges of demanding more than $30,000 of the designer to use the space. It is alleged that Marc Jacobs International made payoffs to Jackson via KCD Public Relations, the label's public relations firm, to secure the historic landmark for important dates.
It is believed that neither MJ International nor KCD has been accused in the indictment, however the New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, did reveal that their investigation was ongoing to determine whether any payments made to Jackson constitute a crime.
