What do we expect?
The hot ticket today is, of course, golden boy Christopher Kane. This boy can do no wrong at the moment (though I must confess I wasn't keen on the snakeskin chiffon). With a unique ability to reinvent his catwalk look dramatically each season while still remaining firmly in the good books of everyone on the front row, we can't even begin to predict what he'll pull out of the hat this time. His London Fashion Week profile gives nothing away, except a love of cashmere...
Nathan Jenden, who's also hitting the catwalk in New York with Diane Von Furstenberg, is another designer we're excited about seeing today. Will he bring us his usual mix of timeless shapes and funky details? I sincerely hope so.
Fighting for Tuesday's crown we also have Todd Lynn, who you'll find all over the pages of Elle UK this month (he went to the British Fashion Awards with their team), Marios Schwab, who - along with Christopher Kane - has been making waves in the New Generation ranks for the last few years, and is partly responsible for the bodycon revival. Expect little black dresses aplenty!
A personal favourite of mine, Basso and Brooke, will also be hitting the catwalks today. Famous for dramatic themes, bold prints and artistic influences, how will they top last season's Kandinsky-fest? I'm hoping with something equally as abstract, topped with chunky knits and big, bold coats.
