What do we expect?
There's loads of talent on show during day two, and just like Sunday, there's a real feel of the old mixed with the new, as established names like Jasper Conran and Amanda Wakeley go up against new names in the biz like Louise Goldin. Definitely one of the hot tickets this year, she only graduated in 2005 and is already massively successful thanks to her creative, modern take on knitwear...
The Off Schedule shows also look to be interesting today, with loads of quirky stuff on offer, especially towards the end of the day with Junky Styling and the SuperSuper Show undoubtedly bringing in the Shoreditch crowd and seeing them partying 'til dawn.
The addition of Ossie Clark to the listing is interesting also, considering the man himself has been dead for over ten years. Thn relaunch sees the label being looked after by Avsh Alom Gur, a name that preview LFW attendees (or readers of sites like this) will no doubt know and love. He describes his current inspirations as "Russian Constructivism and jewellery shops at night," so we're expecting a subtly sparkling, structured and slightly abstract collection.
Finally, we're excited about Eley Kishimoto, who always bring a bit of fun and colour to proceedings. A brand that doesn't take itself too seriously and always delivers amazing prints, we're expecting a show to make us smile and forget it's Winter!
