Wednesday lunchtime it was onto the LFW Fashion Bus for the short hop to the Banqueting House in Whitehall for the Armand Basi show. It felt rather like going on a school trip, except no packed lunches (boo) and I reckon the last time half this lot got on any kind of quasi-public transport was sometime back in 1973....

Markus Lupfer, head of design at Armand Basi doesn't do body-con, instead he loves garments with a strong and distinctive profile. For autumn/winter he focused on the skirt in it's several guises, i.e. a voluminous tulip shape, flowing knee length gathered at the hem and oversized A-line dresses. I'm especially keen on his new hemline shape - a sexy mini from the front, mercifully on the knee from the rear - providing useful cellulite coverage.
