Gucci and Madonna's Night to Benefit Raising Malawi and Unicef: Red carpet report - the women (part 1)

Madonna walked the red carpet in a chic sand coloured jersey dress with daughter Lourdes in a black satin dress, while friend Gwyneth Paltrow wore a beautiful pale pink mini dress with bow detail at the neck. Dita Von Teese wore a strapless mini dress with a full black satin skirt and pink ribbon detail cinching in the waist. Continuing the pop-up embellished ribbon trend, Julia Restoin Roitfeld's beautiful black mini dress was subtle yet sophisticated, while Rihanna opted for a bit of Grecian gorgeousness and Brooke Shields kept things colourful in a jewel halter dress.

Madonna wore a beautiful red Gucci dress last year at the BRITS awards. This year she continues her sheer elegant trend in this silver dress.

Have you noticed that all her glamorous appearances in the last three years are always with knee length simple dresses? Dolce&Gabbana dress she donned at Revolver Red Carpet in December 2007, Vanity Fair Oscars party in 2006 with her pink Versace dress, I am Going to Tell You A Secred Premiere in London with Dolce&Gabbana shiny dress, 2006 Grammy Awards with Alexander McQueen dress, Stella McCartney dress in Toronto Film Festival in 2005....

She only wore a long length evening gown at Vanity Fair Oscars party in 2007 (Dolce&Gabbana) in the last three years.
