Not able to get to London Fashion Week? Fear not, as the On|Off exhibition will be going virtual this year. For the first time ever, the collections of the designers showing at the Royal Academy from February 11-15 will feature on a virtual island on Second Life. Visit On|Off in Second Life and your character can watch videos, visit designers and even snag virtual t-shirts, just like in real life (and without the queues, cold weather and catty fashionistas).
On|Off are definitely getting behind the web this year and embracing the links between technology and fashion. Shows will also be available to download as podcasts from itunes, and people involved with the event will also be writing Fashion Week diaries exclusively for Catwalk Queen.
