Christina Aguilera inspires Stephen Webster silver jewellery collection

xtina79684563.jpg Christina Aguilera has inspired a jewellery collection – and the first thought that popped in my head was ‘thank god she didn’t design it, we have enough celebs designing things’. Probably not the nicest thought but it is the truth.

Anyway, the Stephen Webster designed collection of sterling silver jewellery was inspired and will be promoted by Christina Aguilera – one of Wester’s favourite clients. "She was a real coup for us," says Webster. "She's our longest-term regular client and the right age for the brand. We think she's in the most glamorous period of her life right now, and she is the main source of inspiration behind the collection."

The Stephen Webster Silver Collection will launch at Baselworld in Switzerland next month, with the 50-piece range, Shattered, was inspired by Gothic church windows while the second, Superstud, has a punkier edge. The Shattered campaign features Aguilera in Hitchcock-inspired photographs wearing the silver pieces inlaid with gemstones to look like bits of stained glass.
