Alison Golfrapp sheds the glam and goes back to nature for Seventh Tree

Alison Goldfrapp has gone back to nature for her latest album 'Seventh Tree' which comes out next week on the 25th. I love the way she adopts a different persona for each album, her glam rock noir look for 'Supernature' was inspired and I loved the Little Red Riding Hood gone bad get up for 'Black Cherry'. She also doesn't reveal much about herself which I think is helped by the theatrical characters she plays. See after the jump for more images including the 'Seventh Tree' album cover.

For this release she's gone all Pierrot on us with a slouchy ruff and pompom buttons. I know that The Mighty Boosh joked about the ruff making a comeback but I would totally wear one like this. The coral colour is hot and as for the giant feathered owl... I want one! I'm also loving the Lula-esque soft dusky lighting which is something Susie Bubble wrote about recently.
