This is the moment when Naomi Campbell, new roving reporter for GQ magazine, met Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez. As we recently mentioned, Campbell interviewed Chavez last October in her new capacity as contributing editor to GQ. So, what was the outcome? Well it seems despite Chavez calling George W Bush "completely crazy" and referring to the US as "the fall of the empire [of the eagle]", he also has a humorous side. The outspoken leader complimented Fidel Castro on his fashion sense, "his uniform is impeccable... and his beard is elegant."
I wonder what Castro thinks of all this? I suppose we'll know soon enough after the supermodel also recently landed an interview with the Cuban leader. Campbell also has British racing driver Lewis Hamilton lined up for GQ's March issue. Talk about a career change!
