"I hope that all the designers will consider using models of colour", she said. "Because as we have seen in the last two years, models of colour have not been used on the runways or just in a minute way".

Meanwhile, new British Fashion Council (BFC) chairman Harold Tillman, wants Campbell and Cindy Crawford to act as model mentors to the next generation of models. The Jaeger boss told the Evening Standard that the original supermodels should become more involved in helping the working conditions of young models. He also cited guidelines set out by the Model Health Inquiry as a top priority during his chairmanship.
