Julien MacDonald's ruffle trim pencil skirt for Designers at Debenhams has me salivating. Sadly, I fear when I see it in person the sparkly thread that apparently runs through it might be too much. Until I find out, allow me to imagine how it might be worn - with a tucked-in retro shirt, Miu Miu-inspired brogue detail court shoes, and a butterfly necklace. I'd add black opaques, a bit of a behive and some smoky eyeshadow to finish the look...and I can't help thinking some cats eye glasses would top it off a treat. Overkill, moi?
