Maggie Gyllenhaal on Agent Provocateur: "I did it as an art project"

maggieprovocateurmetro.jpg"Somehow I hadn't understood that there'd be all these pictures of me out there in my underwear. I did it as an art project," Maggie Gyllenhaal told the Metro in response to her recent campaign for Agent Provocateur.

"They asked me to do it and I said yes, but somehow I never put that together with the fact I’d have to stand around in my underwear getting my picture taken. The pictures are very tongue-in-cheek and have an irony about them, it’s not the same as doing a Victoria’s Secret ad. I felt like I was playing a character, someone who wasn’t me," she also said.

I'm sorry but... huh? Maggie, I love you really I do, but how did it not cross your mind that posing for one of the world's leading lingerie brands wouldn't equal you standing around in your knickers? Strange but true...

Typical Maggie. She's such a hypocrite. She's always saying things to try and portray herself in a better light. Like how she would never do an action movie (because she couldn't get the part) then when she was offered The Dark Knight, she jumped at the chance and dissed Katie Holmes in the process. And then later backpedaled and gave interview after interview fawning over Katie. Claimed she never shopped but was caught at fashion show after fashion show.

Her bio reads that unlike other actresses, she doesn't do plastic surgery. Except she's been caught entering a "medical building" in Rodeo Dr with plastic surgeon offices... hhmmm... plus Maggie Gyllenhaal only issued this statement about Agent Provacateur because Agent Provacateur FIRED her for being such an insufferable diva during the shoot. by the way, she looks HIDEOUS in these ads - another reason why Agent Provacateur fired her - their sales plummeted after Maggie posed.
