katemorosstopshop.jpgKate Moross, graphic designer extraordinaire is collaborating with Topshop to produce a collection and she will also be in the Topshop window for a couple of days doodling away. Kate started out designing flyers for club nights in London, band merchandise and commissions from Cadburys while still at uni. She also designs WAR magazine, a new publication edited by trendy fashion misfit Molaroid.
The collection consists of approximately six jersey pieces featuring science-inspired graphics and will launch on the 25th January. In an interview with Fused magazine Kate explained her love of science: “I think that comes from my A-Levels. I did physics, art and product design and everyone was always like, how does physics relate to graphics?"

She went on to say: "graphic design is almost a science in some ways, quite intangible - I like to think about it that way. It's important to marry things that have a lot of depth with things that are very visual because how else are you going to explore them and explain them without using a textbook and some equations? It's fun to kind of push them into surreal visual imagery and see what you can get out of them, and maybe get people interested in it as well.”
If you can't wait until the 25th January you can snap up some cool badges from Concrete Hermit.
