There is no way she would be chosen if her mum wasn't Courtney Love. Her stiking features are um, big blue eyes, which loads of people have. It'd be nice to be a bigger girl in Chanel adverts, but it'd be nicer still if the reason she's there is that she looks special. There is nothing special about Frances!

Surely Spokesmodel is different than catwalk model? she'll get given clothes to wear at movie premiers, not walking the walk in paris fashion week.

What concerns me most, is not if shes pretty, not if shes fat, but shes a child!! 15 years old for goodness sake!! let kids be kids, i thought Courtney could have wrecked her daughters life alone, never mind with such high-profile helpers.

'Chanel gets sued for childlabour' is not a headline I think we will see though.

She's pretty, if you ask me. Everyone seems to be a lot softer on Emma Watson, who only got the Chanel deal because of her success in Harry Potter (yes, that was on her merit so it is indeed different) and because she is thin and more acceptably modelesque.

Cut the snobbery, if she does do this they'll make her look good, just like Agent Provocateur did with Maggie Gyllenhaal, to name one of many similar examples.

Sorry you all but she is perfectly normal for her age. Mid-teen years for most girls are an uncomfortable, unflattering, and awkward time to go through-thankfully it really is over before too long. I went through it and so did my gorgeous daughter. Frances, concentrate on your education now, that should be priority #1 right now. You have plenty of time to decide what you want to do. If it is modeling, those wonderfully striking eyes will be an asset few other girls will have. Hang in there, you are going to be extremely pretty and the negative people who made negative commments can then eat their words! PS..Some of you writers out there should work on your spelling. It is so bad that it's hard to take what you write seriously.

She does have great genes as far as beauty goes. Her heart shaped face and eyes will be lovely, especially after the pics have been touched up. And, being so young, Chanel will keep her for a few years . At least until she is 21 .

All things aside, some of you need to look in a mirror. Look at your reflection. Are YOU perfect looking? Odds are, probably not. How would YOU feel if people all across the country were picking you apart? Tearing down everything about you - as if you weren't a person with a soul or feelings. Frances is 15 years old - do you remember what it's like to be 15? Most teenagers are at odds with themself, struggling to find their own identity. They need words of encouragement, not negativity. Frances didn't ASK to be born to Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, but those are the only parents she's got. This was the hand of cards she was dealt. It doesn't matter what your opinions of her parents are, I'm sure NONE of you have ever met either one personally and therefore have no real basis for your crappy opinions. So keep them to yourself. I'm sure it's hurtful for her to hear and or see people's thoughtless hate splashed all over the media and web. I'm sure none of you would ever want horrible things to be said about YOUR parents. She's 15! She looks perfectly normal....but then again, that brings up another point. She's 15. with all of the crazy goings on of her childhood, maybe she should be focusing on education and making a good, strong name for herself. Just cuz her parents are a fame, doesn't mean she has to be another boring, undeserving Paris Hilton type (not to bash anyone).

and I think her eyes are beautiful. man, those aren't just the typical blue eyes that everyone has. Those are crystal clear. Sharp and almost wolf-like. she has her dad's gorgeously striking eyes!
