H&M gets a new head of design
Margareta van den Bosch, H&M's star head of design, is leaving the Swedish retailer after 20 years in the job. The lady who was responsible for such brand collaborations including Stella McCartney, Madonna, Viktor & Rolf and most recently Roberto Cavalli, is to be replaced by Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M's head of womenswear.
"I'm very excited," said Johansson, who was actually hired by van den Bosch in 1990 as a design assistant. "My biggest challenge is to continue to excite customers and to make fashion and quality at the best possible price."
Van den Bosch's last H&M collection will hit stores this fall. [Source]
