Beyoncé causes trouble at menswear Versace show

rex_723532d.jpgAs the menswear shows continue to take place in Milan, Pagesix.com revealed some quite shocking gossip about the Versace show. The show, which took place yesterday in the Italian fashion capital, ran late due to the arrival of Beyoncé Knowles and her beau Sean "Jay-Z" Carter. An insider then reports that the standing-only event ran even later as they struggled to find a seat for Knowles' bodyguard.

Eventually the men's fashion director for the luxury fashion store Bergdorf Goodman, Tommy Fazio, was asked to give up his seat. Fazio, who was obviously not pleased simply said, "Fine — I don't stand at shows, so please escort me to the door."

Later Fazio is reported to have cancelled his post-show appointment with the leading Italian fashion house. Beyoncé and Jay-Z who were unaware of what had happened continued with their day attending the GQ party.

Versace commented, "Obviously there was some confusion with the show, but it had nothing to do with Beyoncé or her bodyguard. It happens occasionally at shows."

Where the show's managers high?? To ask a luxury retailer such as BG to give up his seat to a singer's bodyguard???

Sounds like BG won't be retailing Versace now...

This whole thing is a bit crazy. How can a singer's bodyguard usurp a director of fashion at a fashion show???

whatever.. The Versace collection inspired by Polish artist Tamara de Lempicka was incredible!
