Yay or Nay: Hilary Swank at P.S. I Love You premiere in Monique Lhuillier

Hilary Swank rarely puts a foot wrong on the red carpet and while I usually admire her fashion prowess, the question here is was this Monique Lhuiller dress really the right choice for her (click image to enlarge)? Hils was snapped in Hollywood at yesterday's premiere of her new flick P.S. I Love You, based on the novel by Cecelia Ahern (I'm reading it now and thoroughly enjoying it!). The hair, clutch and jewels add just the right amount of class but are the ruffles too much for the Oscar winner? You decide!

I definitely say "yay!". She pulled off a swanky balancing act with the hair and accessories. The ear rings, bracelet, and top of the clutch are simple steps to highlight the gold belted portion of her dress. She went out on a limb with the exorbitant ruffles, however her look is clean and classy with all other aspect being played down. You have to go out on a limb sometimes. After all, that is where the fruit is.

Yay. I like it, plus it keeps satin from having its way with her.

Looks good on the catwalk model, but doesnt suit anyone whose even a little curvy.

And that dress gives her a horrid side silluette!
