Observer Woman magazine have named Marc Jacobs as this year's style icon. Despite stints in and out of rehab and a much-criticised spring/summer '08 show, MJ still has what it takes according to the weekly rag. "2007 was the also the year in which Jacobs' celebrity stock exploded. The year in which he inspired more bitching in blogs, and more gossip column inches, than any of his contemporaries," says the article.
Other awards went to US Harper's Bazaar magazine for 'most impressive glossy mag', their amazing pics earned them the title (see image above of Marc Jacobs and Naomi Campbell).
