With an all-star line up that includes the likes of by Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Stephanie Seymour, Eva Herzigova, Angela Lindvall and Natalia Vodianova, it’s no douting that the Louis Vuitton spring 2008 advertising campaign is going to be hot. WWD likened it to an issue of Hot Rod magazine but charged with high glamour. "I thought the idea of hot chicks and cars was really cool — and very Richard Prince," said Vuitton creative director Marc Jacobs, of the color-drenched images of supermodels draped on Sixties muscle cars to WWD. The campaign was photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott with the Seymour and Herzigova campaigns set to break in February issues of glossy mags with the Campbell, Schiffer, Lindvall and Vodianova images set to launch in the months after that.
