This Marc Jacobs men’s ad for spring 2008 is just too funny to not post about. Photographed by usual MJ photographer, Juergen Teller, Harmony Korine (a Hollywood screenwriter/director) is shown stuffing his face with a burger, chips slathered with tomato sauce and goodness knows what else. While it doesn’t sell Marc Jacobs menswear to me, I kind of wish the Victoria Beckham for Marc Jacobs ads looked like this too.

Here in the "States", those chips would be called french fries and they're covered in ketchup (catsup); a very common and yummy way of eating them. It's hard to tell from the photo, but I think the large plate in the middle is a plate of nachos--tortilla chips with melted cheese, sour cream, salsa and chiles. Maybe Marc Jacobs is showing that you can still look great in his clothing even when you're making a pig of yourself! Guys would go for that, I'm sure...
