Topshop skater skirt

If you liked Christopher Kane's last collection with it's ultra short velvet dresses then you'll love these skater skirts from Topshop Boutique. They're made from velour which conjures up horrible images of '90s hippy clothing from Camden for me but if you can get past that they're £60. Just from the way the light reflects onto the fabric the mushroom version is my favourite but they also come in berry red and black.
If you want to go the whole fashion hog team with ankle high lace up boots and if you're a die hard fashion freak some diamanté studded flesh coloured nylon as a top.
