Ruffled trim hemlines are one of this season’s most interesting (but wearable) silhouettes. The key is to keep the dress fitted close to the wearer’s body, so most of the silhouette is streamlined. I love Stella McCartney’s figure hugging little mini dress (right), adorned with rows of ruffles, the cotton jersey dress comes in black or pink, and will set back fans £375. For a sexier look, Coast’s statement floral hem dress (left) is strapless with an abundance of rosettes lined along the hem. It’s half the price of the McCartney at £175. So how do you wear it? Easy, slip in a pair of opaque black tights, sexy pumps and your good to go. Keep things simple and let the hemline help you stand out.
