Preview: Cavalli's designs for Spice Girls tour
Roberto Cavalli has revealed his design sketches for the Spice Girls' upcoming reunion tour, which are reminding us of Girls Aloud's outfits for their music video No Good Advice. Silver and sparkly seems to be the theme of the girls' stage costumes which have been designed especially with each of their personalities in mind. "At their debut, the Spice Girls generated a trend with their individual looks and now, ten years later, they have put their trust in me to get a new, unique and iconic appeal for the tour," said Cavalli, who is currently in London for the Red Cross Ball.
Among the other looks for Victoria, Emma, Geri, Mel B and Mel C are tailored tuxedos, metallic silver uniforms, bright jumpsuits, leather corsets and dresses featuring feathers and Swarovski crystals.
While I will miss the Union Jack mini dresses, faux hair horns and platform trainers, I don't doubt that the outfits for this tour will still "spice up your life!"
