Gisele Bundchen won't get out of bed for US dollars

bundchenbeddollars.jpgLinda Evengelista may not get out of bed for less than $10,000 a day but Gisele Bundchen won't get out of bed for dollars, full stop! The world's richest model has revealed that she refuses to get out of bed unless she is paid in euros now that the US dollar has hit an all time low.

"Contracts starting now are more attractive in euros because we don't know what will happen to the dollar," said her sister and manager, Patricia Bundchen.

One newspaper reported that the supermodel demanded to be paid in euros, following her contract with Pantene. She is also expected to be given a cheque in euros for her work in promoting Dolce & Gabbana's fragrance 'The One'.

Bundchen raked in an estimated $30million (£14million) in the year leading up to June '07in comparison to Kate Moss, who earned an estimated $9million (£4million). So I guess it's only smart business thinking!

This is so stupid and greedy.

The currency conversion is $1 to 1.46 Euros, right?

If she wants more money for her work, why doesn't she just ask for more DOLLARS in the first place? Does she think she's fooling anybody with this logic? "Hey, if I ask for my salary in Euros, they'll never figure out that what I'm ACTUALLY asking for is MORE DOLLARS! I fooled everyone!"

She doesn't deserve a raise to begin with, she's a frickin' model, it's not like they couldn't replace her.
