Giorgio Armani responds to Facebook photo with Meredith Kercher murder suspect

The evils of Facebook... Giorgio Armani has spoken out against a photo that shows him alongside Guede Rudy Hermann (pictured left), a suspect in the murder case of British student Meredith Kercher. The UK press got hold of the image from Hermann's Facebook profile after he was arrested in Germany this week for his involvement in Kercher's death which took place in Perugia, Italy.

In a statement released by Armani's press office it said: "The photo from Facebook.com depicting Mr. Giorgio Armani with Mr. Guede Rudy Hermann was taken as a tourist photo at Mr. Hermann's request. Obviously, Mr. Armani has never known Mr. Hermann".

I'm sensing that Armani features in quite a few Facebook photos...
