Now obviously I'm far too busy to watch television, especially soaps like Hollyoaks (I love you Tom Cunningham!) but I spotted Gemma Merna who plays Carmel McQueen looking absolutely stunning. Instead of her usual dollybird image she went for a dramatically made-up look which complemented her lacy fishtail dress perfectly. Although she didn't win Best Newcomer Award (that accolade went to Kym Marsh) she is definitely the winner in the style stakes that night!
