It was a case of art imitating life this week on the set of the Sex and the City film, with Kim Cattrall's character Samantha embroiled in an icky confrontation with an animal-rights protester who attacked her for wearing a white fur coat.
Only two years ago, Anna Wintour was attacked for real with a tofu pie by PETA activists as she left the Chloe ready-to-wear show in Paris. Earlier that same year, the US Vogue editor was targeted again, this time with flour at Milan Fashion Week for her support of fur in the industry.
