Last year I was hunting down pencil skirts like nobody's business and this year they're everywhere! Dorothy Perkins have got a great high-waisted skirt (£20) that will give you an amazing silhouette.
The buttoned waist will nip you in and teamed with a boat neck t-shirt and flat lace-ups it makes a nice change from jeans for a casual outfit.
If you want a more formal outfit you could team it with a plaid shirt and black heeled brogues for a retro look and if you're feeling crafty then make yourself some natty braces to top it all off!
