Aya Tsukioka creates vending machine safety outfit

vendingmachinedress.jpg
Japanese designer Aya Tsukioka is so concerned with safety that she has designed the ultimate item for urban camouflage. The skirt folds out in to a vending machine (above) to hide from potential attackers. There is also a backpack which unfolds to look like a Japanese fire hydrant. It seems like quite an extreme measure to go to, I think the backpack is actually quite cool. Not sure if the vending machine skirt would catch on or not, maybe the quirky idea could be adapted in London to make you look like a London Lite paper distributer? or an oyster card machine? Does anyone know how I can purchase one of these outfits. Is there a website?

i hope people don't actually believe this shit. google this and one second later, you can tell that people from tokyo are outraged that a respected newspaper would publish a gossip-magazine worth of false/ridiculous information.

I'm sorry, but what criminal is going to be fooled by this? It is so obviously not a vending machine!
