For me, the jury is still out on whether I think much of Lauren Conrad a lass who, like many, found fame on a reality TV show. Although, unlike many, she's managed to keep that fame going and now you could be forgiven for thinking that she's actually made the big time. The NY Post reports that the Hills' star has been asked by Marc Jacobs to model in his upcoming show at New York Fashion Week.
“Marc hired Lauren Conrad to do his show, so now all the real models have to sign releases for TV if they want to be in his show - which of course they do,” an insider told the Post. “They are very put out that Marc succumbed to putting on one of ‘those shows’ - you know, the publicity shows.”
While I appreciate that it's Marc's show and he can hire anyone he wants to do the job, I'm still confused as to why he picked LC?
