I have a slight fascination with jumpsuits. Perhaps because I was born in the 1980s and I started to flick through “grown up“ mags like Seventeen and Cosmopolitan in the early 1990s where fashion models wore things like jumpsuits and boat neck tops. I never wore them myself, but I am in awe of a beautifully made piece of clothing that fits under either of those categories. Then a few months ago, while on the hunt for a cake on my lunch break (long story), I ended up in a second-hand clothing store (a slight detour if you must know) with a friend from work who encouraged me to try on this jumpsuit from the 1980s...

It actually looked ok! I didn’t buy it (where would I wear it?!) but since then I love looking at beautifully made ones.

I love this T-Bags Reese jersey jumpsuit from Net-A-Porter. The plunging neckline and boot-cut legs would be so flattering. Add a floppy hat with a scarf tied around it, some bangles and some big sunnies, I could try and channel JLo. Livin La Vida Loca anyone? Oh wait, that's a Ricky Martin song...
