I can't say how much I love a beautiful blouse or shirt, and whether they're tailored and embellished, or just plain white and big enough to fit your boyfriend, they're one of the most flattering top choices out there.
Moving into Autumn/Winter, and with so much tailoring and clean lines on the catwalks there's going to be a lot more made of shirts this season, so I've picked a few of my favourites. First on the left is a white option from Monsoon.
This Imogen silk blouse is a really pretty choice. It'd look fantastic under waistcoats, or alternatively teamed with a pencil skirt. It's delicate and feminine and can be dressed up or down at the drop of a hat.
My second choice is from Topshop. A more casual choice, this Button Front print blouse won me over with it's gorgeous sleeveless shape, and subtly pretty border print, repeated on the collar. I'd wear this one with some wide leg jeans in the day time.
Finally, an evening blouse from Miss Selfridge. This teal chiffon number would look fantastic with high waist trousers to make a sassy evening outfit. And those ruffles are sure to get you noticed.
