French Connection reveals low sales due to wet summer
High street retailer French Connection are expected to reveal a slump in profits this week as certain stores announce their first half results. Department store John Lewis and Next are also announcing their sales figures on Tuesday.
Chief executive of French Connection, Stephen Marks, is believed to be about to report a loss of about £3 million citing the awful British summer as the cause. Marks is attempting to change the look of the store by selling nice party dress and tailored trousers as an oppose to 'fcuk' branded t-shirts and hats.
