Gingham is a pattern that I usually find works best on shirts, the babydoll dress look is a bit too twee for my tastes. Forever 21 have done a great job of updating the look with this dress which fits into Autumn/Winter trends easily.
The shape of the dress from the fitted scoop neck to the knee length skirt is everywhere and in every fabric it seems. I'm still not convinced this can contend with the tweed and plain black versions of this shape out there, but at the great price of $28 you can't go wrong. A great way to wear this season's trend shapes without being over dressed.
