Forever21: Finally forging its own path?

It seems just about everyone's finally woken up and smelled the coffee; after years and years of copycatting, Forever21's finally being slapped by lawsuits left and right. The current pending lawsuits list now includes Anna Sui, Gwen Stefani for Harajuku Lovers and LAMB, Diane Von Furtsenberg, and, according to the International Business Times, 20+ other copyright and infringement suits have been filed against F21 since 2001. Ew! Forever21's just launched their new website look and it has got a few new additions they'd like us to take note of. The new section, "Fashion Editors' Picks" showcases all recently F21 threads that've been featured in popular magazines. There is a new "fall fashion" category which includes old and new inventory, and there are now rotating banners advertising its little sib lines, Heritage 1981 and the upcoming Twelve by Twelve. That is one thing F21 has going for itself - Twelve by Twelve is coming out this Fall, and apparantly features "demi-couture" for less than $100 a piece.
