This Star by Julian McDonald dress is pure perfection

Help! Somebody! I don't think I can carry on if I don't get my hands on this magnificent dress. When I think of what my ideal cocktail dress would look like, this Star by Julian McDonald Cocktail Dress ticks all the right boxes.

Strapless? Check. Flamboyant? Check. Guaranteed to stand out from the crowd? Check.

True, the belt looks a bit naff but, take that off, sling on some glitzy heels with an equally glitzy bag (even better in red to really jazz it up) and you've got yourself one hell of an outfit. Available for £100 at Debenhams, you've also got yourself what I consider to be one hell of a bargain too.

has this not just bin swipped from the tea shop down the road, i heard on the news they would like their tablecloth back, they paid extra for that doylee edge!

It looks gorgeous, and yes lose the belt, but otherwise I love it. I'll be looking out for it, after all party season is coming up!

This (especially the doyley) looks so much like the Judy Marshall dress I got a while back at a vintage shop. I think it's lovely!
