There aren't many things that I get out of bed on a Sunday for. Missing the Hollyoaks omnibus is a big sacrifice for me (I'm not even being sarcastic). However, having seen last season's PPQ show, I knew I wouldn't be disappointed if I made the effort to go this this one, even if it meant an early start.

It's been another beautiful day in London town, providing the perfect weather for the Spring / Summer shows. The BFC put on a good breakfast spread for the early shows so we could commit a huge fashion faux-pas and (*shock, horror*) actually eat!

The morning began with the official opening of London Fashion Week (yep, even though we were all at shows yesterday) and a brief presentation by Stuart Rose (chairman of the British Fashion Council) and Erin O'Connor, who looked great in a double-breasted jacket. They commented on the great range of designers who chose to show at London Fashion Week this year.

PPQ's show was unsurprisingly packed (word spreads fast) with start turns from Peaches Geldof and model of the moment Agyness Deyn, who's surprisingly short in the flesh. It was an 80s inspired show that you can read more about in my show report.

After PPQ we ran over to Baden Powell House for Nicola de Main's off schedule show. Surprise celeb spot of the day was Kirsten Dunst, sneaking in late and trying to look incognito in a trench and wayfarers. While I tried to pap her (it came out fuzzy) Iso was more interested in snapping the old season Nicola de Main dress that one of the photographers was sporting.

After the show we headed to the exhibition tents for a bit of hair styling at the Toni & Guy room (the joys of being press) and grabbed a MAC goodie bag before heading to the press office to write up the shows and grab a cuppa before lunch. Again we were papped by our mates at OSOYOU.com, who're sponsoring the press lounge this year.

Leaving Iso to explore the exhibition before the Eley Kishimoto show this evening, I headed to Mayfair to meet Gemma for the best part of the day - a party for the opening of Diane Von Furstenberg's latest shop. We were surrounded by the fashion elite and were also lucky enough to meet Diane herself. She was - of course - absolutely fabulous and working the room like a pro! Look out for our video interview tomorrow...

Also to come...Hannah meets Ziggy from Big Brother and reports from the Julien MacDonald show, Iso brings news of Eley Kishimoto and Rachael talks Julia Clancey...
