CQ Photoshoot: Glitter and Twisted - pt7

This is one of my favourite images from the photoshoot, the model's off centre pose is great and the lighting is near perfect. I enjoyed making accessories for the shoot, and on this picture the model is sporting one of my glittery feathers I brought along for a Cockettes vibe. Click for larger image, and see after the jump for shoot details.

This and the second shot are thus far my favourites in the lot. Keep up the good work girls! Having run a monthly newspaper pullout I know how hard photoshoots can be.

Gorgeous outfit! The headband is the best thing about it, how was it done?

Thanks for the compliments guys, we're planning our next shoot as we speak. The headband was easy peasy, I sprayed some Spray Mount on the top of the feather and sprinkled glitter onto it. Then after putting my sequin headband (you can get similar ones from H&M or sew up a length of sequin from your local haberdashery shop)and the American Apparel headband onto the model I simply tucked the feather into the two. Easy!

This picture is easily the best yet...fantastic pose, and very strong contrasting. Love it!
