Covent Garden is full of great vintage destinations, but Wow Retro’s Drury Lane shop is one of our favourites, not just because it’s two minutes away from the office – meaning we walk past it every day – but also because of how spacious it is compared to some of the others.
The store stocks everything from fun fur coats to psychedelic Nina Ricci mini dresses (£60) and also has more maxi dresses than the ASOS.com sale section.
With huge sections for guys and girls, all well-organised so you can easily find what you want (sequinned butterfly poncho? Vintage cowboy boots? Retro leather jacket?) the store has a big range of vintage finds from the 40s to the 80s, all at surprisingly reasonable prices for this part of London.
On our trip we were taken by a green prom dress for £55, some beautiful vintage swimsuits (they really don’t make them like this any more) and an original Ossie Clark floral dress, yours for £450.
